Arsenal host Leicester on Sunday looking to cut the leaders' five-point advantage at the summit and have Danny Welbeck back in the squad.
Welbeck has been sidelined since last April with a serious knee injury but played 60 minutes for Arsenal's under-21s last week, and Arsene Wenger said the forward has stepped up his recovery further in training this week.
Gabriel misses out on a place in the XI with a hamstring injury as Per Mertesacker returns after suspension following his red card against Chelsea. Francis Coquelin also comes in for Mathieu Flamini.
