Arsenal youngsters can step in and solve injury worries - Hector Bellerin

Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin has said the club's youngsters are ready to provide the solution to a growing injury crisis.

Key players Alexis Sanchez, Santi Cazorla and Laurent Koscielny were all injured as the Gunners dropped two Premier League points in a 1-1 draw with Norwich at Carrow Road.

Mikel Arteta, Francis Coquelin, Theo Walcott, Danny Welbeck, Jack Wilshere, Tomas Rosicky and Kieran Gibbs are all also out with injuries.

But Bellerin told the official Arsenal website that the north London club's youngsters had the quality to fill the gaps.

"I have said it before -- there is great depth in the team," he said. "There are a lot of young players in the team waiting to come through.

"They are ready to step up, so obviously every single player on the bench can do the same job as every single player in the starting XI. We don't need to worry about [about the injuries].

"The only thing we need to do is go out onto the pitch with the right mentality. It does not matter who we play.

"We need to look at ourselves and realise that we need to push ourselves a bit more and play better football if we want to be at the top."

He said what happened at Norwich, where the home side's Lewis Grabban struck to wipe out an opening goal by Mesut Ozil, "was not a great experience."

And he added that Arsenal "need to try and bounce back so we are ready" when they host Sunderland, who have won their last two matches, on Saturday.
