Arsenal forward Theo Walcott has warned Bayern Munich they can expect to receive the same treatment handed out to Manchester United when they come to the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night.
The Gunners slumped to a 3-2 home defeat against Olympiakos in their last European fixture, leaving them pointless at the bottom of Group F and facing an uphill battle to qualify for the knockout stages.
By contrast, Bayern have looked in imperious form with maximum points from two games without conceding a goal, including a 5-0 thrashing of Dinamo Zagreb, who had beaten Arsenal at home on Matchday One.
Walcott, though, feels the manner in which United were dispatched in the Premier League before the international break as Arsenal raced into a 3-0 lead inside 20 minutes showed Wenger's men have what it takes to rise to the occasion.
"We just need to move on from the first couple of [European] results, they have happened. We know we are capable of getting results against Bayern Munich and we obviously want to put things right," said the England forward.
"Looking at our last Premier League home match against Manchester United, the intensity of our game was different to what it was like against Olympiakos in the Champions League.
"We want put it right and we just need to work hard, and that is what it comes down to. If everyone is doing their job on the day it is difficult to beat us.
"I think that is down to us players and we can work hard for the team because we know the talent is there and it has always been there.
"We haven't started in the Champions League how we would have liked to, but we will work hard and try and put it right."
Bayern have won on each of their last two visits to the Emirates Stadium, the two clubs paired in the knockout stages in successive campaigns.
Walcott, however, feels if Arsenal can produce the same collective performance as they did against United, then the Bundesliga pacesetters will be in for a tough examination in what will be back-to-back Champions League fixtures with the Gunners.
"Playing against Bayern and their quality is of course going to be a good challenge for us and a difficult game," Walcott said to Arsenal Media. "We are at home with our support and we need a similar sort of performance like we had against Manchester United.
"We know we can beat anyone and we are going to be completely ready for this one."
Arsenal will have forward Olivier Giroud available again for selection on Tuesday night after the France striker had to serve a one-match ban following his sending off in Zagreb.
