Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger angry over questions about David Ospina

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has reacted furiously and threatened to walk out of a news conference after repeated questions about his decision to drop Petr Cech for David Ospina in the Champions League defeat to Olympiakos.

Arsenal suffered their second European defeat in as many matches as Wenger chose the Colombian international as his No. 1 with regular first-choice Cech on the bench.

Ospina was at fault as he dropped the ball over his own line in the 3-2 defeat, but Wenger was in no mood to discuss his decision on Friday ahead of a massive game against Manchester United this weekend.

"I do not want to come back on that," he said. "I don't change a word of what I said. I have two world-class goalkeepers. "It's the easiest choice I have to make, to pick one of those two."

When pressed again over his decision and whether Jose Mourinho was right over his claims that the Frenchman was the only manager in the Premier League not under pressure, Wenger hit back.

"Look, stop that story, or we stop the press conference," he said. "I think you lack creativity in the media, and you follow a bandwagon that is very, very boring.

"If you question Ospina, I question your knowledge of football. People don't analyse the game well. I heard one pundit criticise one thing, and everyone followed that.

"Nobody analysed the numbers. It's depressing. Yes, the goalkeeper made a mistake, but we could still have won the game."
