Argentina forward Ezequiel Lavezzi and Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Javier Pastore have both suffered injury scares ahead of their pre-Copa America friendly with Honduras on Friday.
Argentina surprisingly included Lavezzi, the Hebei China Fortune player, in the squad for the tournament ahead of Juventus' Paulo Dybala, but Lavezzi's participation could now be a doubt after he picked up an adductor muscle problem.
Pastore has a reported muscle strain and Argentina are waiting for a medical report after the player underwent tests on Tuesday.
Lavezzi joined up with his teammates in Buenos Aires to train ahead of the warm-up game against Honduras in San Juan, as Gerardo Martino's side prepared for the tournament opener against Chile on June 7 at Levi's Stadium near San Francisco.
But the ex-Paris Saint Germain player now faces an anxious wait to see the extent of the injury, with further tests scheduled for Wednesday, as the Argentina FA reported.

"This afternoon, 'Pocho' Lavezzi had tests for some issues in his left adductor [muscle]," the tweet said. "He will be evaluated [again] tomorrow."
Martino may consider the option of using Dybala to replace Lavezzi. Dybala is currently listed on Argentina's preliminary squad for the Rio Olympics, but Juve have said they do not want the 22-year-old to play during the August dates.

The Albiceleste will fly to San Juan, Argentina, on Thursday ahead of the Honduras match. Lionel Messi, Javier Mascherano and Ever Banega are expected to join up with the team on Wednesday.
