Defending champions Uruguay are drawn against Argentina in Group B as the draw for the 2015 Copa America is made. (1:11)

Barcelona's Lionel Messi and Javier Mascherano as well as Juventus forward Carlos Tevez were among the 22 international players recalled by Argentina coach Gerardo Martino for upcoming March friendlies in the United States.

Argentina will play El Salvador on March 28 at FedExField in Landover, Maryland, and versus Ecuador three days later at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Martino will name the remaining players active in the Argentina league after Monday's action. Zenit defender Ezequiel Garay and Paris Saint-Germain forward Ezequiel Lavezzi are returning to the Albiceleste after injuries while defender Martin Demichelis did not get called up.

Argentina and Ecuador are preparing for the Copa America next June 11-July 4 in Chile and El Salvador for the CONCACAF Gold Cup the following month.

Goalkeepers: Nahuel Guzman (Tigres), Sergio Romero (Sampdoria) and Geronimo Rulli (Real Sociedad).

Defenders: Ezequiel Garay (Zenit), Pablo Zabaleta (Manchester City), Marcos Rojo (Manchester United), Facundo Roncaglia (Genoa), Mateo Musacchio (Villarreal), Lucas Orban (Valencia) and Nicolas Otamendi (Valencia)

Midfielders: Javier Pastore (PSG), Angel Di Maria (Manchester United), Lucas Biglia (Lazio), Roberto Pereyra (Juventus), Ever Banega (Sevilla), Enzo Perez (Valencia) and Javier Mascherano (Barcelona)

Forwards: Ezequiel Lavezzi (PSG), Sergio Aguero (Manchester City), Gonzalo Higuain (Napoli), Carlos Tevez (Juventus) and Lionel Messi (Barcelona).
