APOEL Nicosia won their 25th Cypriot league title on Thursday after beating AEK Larnaca 2-0.
Pieros Sotiriou scored in the first half and Giannis Gianniotas added another in the second from the penalty spot.
The win put APOEL seven points ahead of second-place AEL with two matches remaining.
APOEL's fourth straight title comes a week after they fired coach Temur Ketsbaia following a loss in the Cypriot Cup semifinals.
