Egypt are the team with the most titles, with seven trophies and are the only country to have registered more than 50 victories at the tournament. It was already a safe bet that January's 2015 African Nations Cup contenders would be tested to the limit and even leaving aside the significant infrastructural concerns, Wednesday night's draw confirmed that fact. A field containing nine former winners (Algeria, Tunisia, South Africa, Zambia, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Congo and DR Congo) and just three countries that have never progressed beyond the quarterfinals (Equatorial Guinea, Cape Verde and Gabon) feels like the strongest for some time....

Avram Grant: Ghana face tough draw at 2015 African Nations Cup

The ESPN FC crew discuss the last of the teams to qualify for the African Nations Cup tournament which will be hosted by Equatorial Guinea in January.

Ghana officially unveiled Avram Grant as the new Black Stars coach on Thursday, with the former Chelsea boss stating that his side face a tough group at the 2015 African Nations Cup in Equitorial Guinea in January.

Grant, 54, agreed a two-year deal with the Ghana Football Association (GFA) last week after a lengthy negotiation period.
