Cameroon beat Mauritania to qualify for African Nations Cup

Cameroon qualified for the 2017 African Nations Cup with a 1-0 win over Mauritania on Friday.

The Indomitable Lions will top qualifying Group M after Edgar Salli scored on the half-hour mark with a blast from the top of the box.

Cameroon will join Algeria and Morocco as finalists in Gabon next year.

Tunisia took the lead in Group A thanks to a 3-0 win at Djibouti.

Naim Sliti, Hamdi Harbaoui and Yassine Khenissi were on the scoresheet, who moved a point ahead of Liberia, who still have a game in hand.

Libya scored in stoppage time to salvage a 1-1 draw, stunning already-qualified Morocco in Group F.

Nabil Dirar opened the scoring follwing a corner kick, but Sand Msoud found the equaliser with a header in the closing stages.
