Rwanda upset Ivory Coast, Gabon and Morocco play to goalless draw

Rwanda upset the Ivory Coast 1-0 in Group A action at the African Nations Championship.

Emery Bayisenge scored the lone goal of the match in the 16th minute, putting Rwanda in the top spot in the group after the opening matches of the championship. 

In the other group match of the day, Gabon and Morocco played to a goalless draw that leaves the two teams tied for second in the group.

Rwanda face Gabon and the Ivory Coast play Morocco in the second round of Group A matches on Jan. 20.
