Adelaide United sign former Wellington Phoenix defender Scott Galloway

Scott Galloway
Scott Galloway.

Scott Galloway has joined his fourth A-League club after signing a one-year deal with Adelaide United.

The 23-year-old defender had been on trial at the Reds after stints with Melbourne Victory, Central Coast and Wellington Phoenix.

"I knew coming here initially on trial I would have to impress [coach] Marco [Kurz] but I was always confident," Galloway said in a statement.

Reds boss Kurz added that he was delighted that Galloway would add depth to Adelaide's roster for the upcoming season.

"We have been impressed with Scott and his performances in the preseason friendlies recently," Kurz said.

"It is never easy being a trialist, but he worked hard in the training sessions and made some good appearances for us against Birkalla and Olympic.

"We're happy to sign him as part of the team for the upcoming season and we are confident his quality will add to our team."
