AC Milan defender Luca Antonelli faces a spell on the sideline after tearing a calf muscle, his team confirmed on Tuesday.
The 29-year-old was injured at the conclusion of Milan's draw with Frosinone on Sunday, when he scored from an overhead kick.
Milan, who have two Serie A games and the Coppa Italia final remaining, did not supply a timeline for the Italy international's recovery.
A statement on the Rossoneri's website read: "AC Milan announces that, at the end of Milan-Frosinone on Sunday, Luca Antonelli suffered a partial tear of the soleus muscle in his right leg.
"Recovery times will be evaluated based on the evolution of the clinical picture."
