AC Milan: Mino Raiola says he would buy club for the right price

Agent Mino Raiola has said he would be prepared to buy AC Milan at the right price -- and would be helping Italian football if he did so.

Amid growing speculation that Milan president Silvio Berlusconi is considering an offer from Thai businessman Bee Taechaubol for a share in the club, Raiola told Tuttosport he would consider a bid if the Rossoneri lowered their price.

"I'll buy them, but they would have to sell at the right price," he said. "I've got the funds, and I would also know who to call as a partner. I'm not kidding. I would do it just to change the system of Italian football.

"I tried to buy Roma, but then Unicredit... [rejected an offer]. I would also buy Napoli straight away."

Raiola hit out at Milan director Barbara Berlusconi, saying she "never criticises me to my face, but she does it through the papers."

And he said general manager Adriano Galliani was "a friend outside of football, but an enemy in the game. He runs Milan like a pitbull."

He added: "We don't always agree, but he's faithful and I respect him. Milan need new owners, but foreign investors are put off by the system in Italy."

The pressure on Milan coach Filippo Inzaghi is growing after Saturday's draw with Hellas Verona.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reported that Berlusconi's patience was exhausted when Verona's 95th-minute equaliser left the club seven points adrift of the top six.

However, Galliani is understood to have convinced the president to give Inzaghi one more chance against Fiorentina on Monday.
