Filippo Inzaghi feels the pressure from Adriano Galliani at AC Milan

AC Milan general manager Adriano Galliani visited the club's Milanello training facilities on Tuesday, observing Filippo Inzaghi amid speculation the coach has just one match left to save his job.

A 1-1 draw at Chievo last weekend has increased the pressure on Inzaghi, whose side face Hellas Verona at the San Siro on Saturday desperately in need of points to get their push for a return to Europe next season back on track.

Another defeat or disappointing performance may prompt action to be taken with suggestions that Inzaghi is starting to lose the dressing room. A spate of injuries certainly has not helped and that is one of the reasons Galliani was understood to have attended Tuesday's training session.

He was involved in a meeting with Inzaghi and his assistant Mauro Tassotti for an hour and a half, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, to analyse the club's current plight. Members of Milan's medical team were also in attendance with the long list of injured players showing no sign of reducing.

Riccardo Montolivo and Nigel De Jong risk missing the Hellas game, having joined six other members of the Rossoneri squad on the treatment table. Ignazio Abate, Adil Rami and Cristian Zapata are unlikely to return until the end of the month while Mattia De Sciglio and Stephan El Shaarawy are out long term. Hachim Mastour is also out until the end of April after undergoing knee surgery.

Meanwhile, Inzaghi won't pick Michael Essien or Sulley Muntari after both were heavily criticised following the defeat to Juventus last month, meaning his options are limited for Saturday night's San Siro clash.

Since the turn of the year, Milan have picked up just nine points and only a handful of sides are in worse form in 2015. They are currently 10th in Serie A, eight points adrift of Fiorentina in fifth and a place in the Europa League next season.
